We have partnered with a leading security organisation who are looking for a Procurement Coordinator. You will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth flow of materials for our production processes.
Responsibilities:
- Materials Management:
- Monitor Store stock levels
- Issue materials to production as needed.
- Maintain accurate inventory records.
- Purchase Orders and Invoices:
- Place purchase orders for electronic components.
- Verify invoices and reconcile discrepancies.
- Logistics and Supply Chain Support:
- Coordinate with logistics partners for timely deliveries.
- Assist in supply chain optimisation.
- Goods In Paperwork:
- Ensure proper documentation for received materials.
- Order Tracking and Follow-up:
- Chase orders and expedite deliveries when necessary.
Experience required:
- Previous experience in procurement, materials control, or supply chain management, or stores.
- Competence in purchasing electronic B2B components.
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
- Proficiency in relevant software tools (e.g., MRP systems).
- Excellent communication and negotiation abilities.
