You will be working for a leading manufacturing company based in Greater London. This business has gone from strength-to-strength, doubling its site size and tripling its annual revenue over the last 5 years. This business supplies retail and hospitality customers across the UK and Europe and has plans to continue expanding their customer base over the coming years.
Your new role
The role of Procurement Excellence Lead is there to support the Procurement Director in rolling out and refining the procurement processes and ways of working across the business. You will work closely with senior leadership across the business to help educate on best practice and to help win the "hearts and minds" of the business. You will play a key role in developing the data that the procurement team utilise and establishing a framework that can be used when understanding business spending across all areas.
What you\'ll need to succeed
Ample experience within a procurement role is necessary to allow you to effectively communicate procurement values and to build a best-in-class function. Clear communication and expert stakeholder management skills are crucial for this role. Experience working within an indirect procurement department is also a requirement to allow you to create appropriate procurement guidelines fit for business needs. A strong attention to detail and ability to work independently is a necessity for this role. While you will work in partnership with the Procurement Director, you will be frequently left to manage your own projects and deadlines. MCIPS would be highly beneficial and advantageous, but is not a pre-requisite.
