SalaryProcurement Lead - Bristol - Renewable Energy
Our client, a growing Renewable Energy contractor are currently recruiting for a procurement professional to support the Commercial Manager and Senior Management team in developing and implementing company procurement and supply chain strategies and solutions.
Remuneration:
£50,000 - £95,000 per annum plus car/car allowance & benefits
Location:
Bristol / Working from home
The role:
- Ensure all procurement is compliant with company process and procedure.
- Maintain and manage supplier relationships, ensuring continued good communications
- Liaise with Project Engineers regarding project procurement schedules.
- Negotiating with suppliers for best quality, service and price
- Process requisitions, place purchase orders with suppliers and managing them to ensure goods, plant and services are compliant with contract requirements and delivered on time.
- Support finance in resolving invoices and account discrepancies
- Prepare cost analysis reports on procurement process and targets.
- Assist in the vetting and review of supplier performance
Requirements:
- Procurement experience
- Proficient in the use of computer systems, word, excel, AutoCAD
- Knowledge of purchasing procedures
- Mechanical or Electrical experience is benefiticial
- Enthusiastic, hardworking and the ability to work as part of a team and hit targets and deadlines
- Demonstrable good oral and written communication skills
- Have CIPS qualification or working towards.
- Full UK driving licence
