Are you passionate about fresh produce and ready to take on a dynamic role in a fast-paced environment?
We're seeking a dedicated Procurement Manager to ensure that high-quality raw materials are sourced and delivered efficiently to meet customer orders.
Responsibilities:
- Lead, coach, and develop the Procurement team.
- Manage team schedules, performance, and training.
- Ensure smooth communication across departments.
- Negotiate supplier contracts with the G&P Director.
- Develop and maintain procurement strategy.
- Drive supplier improvement and find better supply solutions.
- Monitor and explain weekly Purchase Price Variance (PPV).
- Coordinate with Growers and Technical for top-quality materials.
- Handle supplier relationships and performance management.
What do you need to be successful?
- Experience in a fast-paced procurement environment in Fresh Produce/Food.
- Proficiency with procurement tools and costing models.
- Effective communication in English (Spanish and Italian are a plus).
- Exceptional attention to detail.
Working Conditions:
- Office Based role in Chichester. Potential to be hybrid, but will be on-site for the majority.
- Occasional travel across UK & Portugal Sites
Salary
55,000 - 65,000pa
