SalaryPertemps Aylesbury is currently recruiting for a Procurement Manager on a fixed term contract for our client based in Aylesbury.
The role will report to the Head of Procurement and will have 2 direct reports. The ideal candidate will bring a proven track record in procurement, exceptional negotiation skills, and a strong understanding of the skin care or beauty industry.
Your mission will be to ensure the seamless fulfilment of all procurement needs at the highest quality and best price, aligning with our client's business strategy. You will play a pivotal role in achieving annual cost-saving targets while maintaining our commitment to high quality and sustainability standards.
Salary: £50,000 - £60,000 (DOE)
Hours: 9am-5pm (Hybrid working)
Duties:
- Ensuring strategic procurement of goods to meet business needs.
- Driving savings through negotiation and sourcing strategy to ensure global demand is always covered.
- Maintaining relationships with internal stakeholders and key suppliers.
- Data analysis, creating and updating fully detailed purchases reports.
- Responsible for NPD Supply Chain duties ensuring the product is launched on time, on budget, on brief (OTOBOB).
Requirements:
- At least 4 years' experience as a Procurement Manager
- Outstanding negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Have a superb supplier management history, building deep and long-term relationships.
- A track record of utilising budgeting and cost management skills to achieve cost-effective procurement outcomes.
- Demonstrable expertise in Excel and data analytics.
