About the Department
Based in our Business Services team, the Procurement Manager will play a key role in Hillcrest’s buying and contracting activities. Operating across a multi-site environment, the role will help ensure Hillcrest delivers high quality services and achieves value for money in all areas of procurement. About the Role
This is a varied and interesting role which will require the successful applicant to work closely with other key staff throughout Hillcrest, its supply chain and partner organisations.
As part of a small team, you will:
Support lead officers with all aspects of procurement and lead on the strategy and policy development for the business
Monitor and manage supplier cost, service, and quality performance
Help identify social value benefits and be instrumental in embedding sustainable procurement practices across the business
About You
You must be a procurement professional with a CIPS qualification and an in-depth understanding of procurement practices and commissioning frameworks. A solution focused, skilled communicator, with strong business acumen, and the ability to influence and build strong working relationships at all levels is what we are looking for.
