We are seeking a highly organised Procurement Manager who has a keen eye for detail to manage all procurement activities for the business

Description
- Procurement of all products and components for the business including NPI, Production and Aftermarket
- Implement and maintain procurement strategies to ensure quality and cost-effectiveness of purchases.
- Supplier selection, sourcing, contracting, purchasing operations management from demand through to delivery of parts
- Coordinate with suppliers and negotiate contracts to secure advantageous terms.
- Assess and manage risks associated with procurement processes.
- Oversee the operation of the procurement department to ensure compliance with company policies.
- Review and prepare reports on procurement and usage of materials.
- Maintain and update supplier information such as qualifications, delivery times, product ranges, etc.
- Work closely with Operations, Projects, Planning, Logistics, Quality and Finance to achieve business targets
Profile
- Experience of Direct Procurement in an industrial setting including sourcing operations, commercial and project procurement
- CIPS qualified or working towards
- People management experience
- Good planning/ project management skills
