Transformation is this Leading Engineering Provider's mission. With over $1b annual investment in their procurement processes, they strive to improve their services and quality, while maximizing margins.

Their Engineering and Harm FM services have established them as a household name in the market, and after a period of sustained market growth, they now want ambitious procurement professionals to lead their charge towards best-in-class.

The procurement industry has undergone a change in the last 5 years, and this public services provider has taken notice. We no longer need to spend all our time in the office, travelling to and from, and spending our time in unnecessary meetings. Flexibility is this company's ethos. You'll work in a remote position from your own home where you will manage a team and help to redefine the procurement process in the name of efficiency, to meet and grow customer demand. To achieve this, you will:

• Take control of the entire end-to-end procurement process, identifying areas for continuous improvement and strive to optimize value delivery and supply base performance.
• Implement Engineering category management strategies to streamline the procurement processes and improve service quality.
• Establish key annualised savings targets through collaboration with stakeholders and Procurement Delivery Partners.
• Protect the continuity of the company's existing supply chain through implementing innovative risk management strategies.
• Challenge existing stakeholders on the existing supply chain processes to achieve marginal success.
• Join their mission to build a diverse and sustainable workplace.

This is a Category Manager position, as such, you will have a proven track record of effecting change through implementing innovative category management strategies. This record will have been established by working on numerous large Engineering category projects across Logistics, Aerospace and Micromobility.

It is preferrable that you are education to post-graduate level or possess a professional qualification, such as MCIPS, but this is not essential. This company prides itself on looking beyond your qualifications at your personality, skills, and abilities.

This is an English-speaking role, so other languages are advantageous, but you must be 100% business fluent in English.
