Procurement Manager - Public Sector
We are currently looking for Procurement Managers to work within Central Government.
Initial 12-month contract - London, Glasgow, Manchester, York, Norwich - Hybrid 3 days per. week in the office
About the role: You will be responsible for planning and preparation for the implementation of the new regime leading into work supporting the strategy, design, delivery and execution of the Communities of Practice product for the programme. Engage and develop key identified stakeholder groups across the Wider Public Sector, Central Government or Suppliers, supporting and enhancing their procurement capability.
Essential Skills:
The ideal candidates will have proven Procurement Management background working within Central Government, with the following skills/experience:
- Commercial and Procurement background with experience in a fast-paced environment
- Knowledge of the Public Sector Procurement process including (Open, Restricted, Competitive Dialogue, Competitive procedure with negotiation, Innovation Partnerships, Negotiated without prior publication)
- Experience of running Procurement's and multiple projects.
- Experience in Public Contracts Regulations (PCR) 2015 & Procurement Reform (Procurement Act)
- High level of IT skills including experience with a range of Microsoft IT packages.
- CIPS - Desired.
