A large non for profit organisation are currently seeking a Procurement Officer to join their team and run the end-to-end procurement process.
This is an excellent opportunity to grow your procurement experience further
Role & Responsibilities:
- Working closely with suppliers to grow relationships and ensure contractual requirements are being met
- Ensuring value for money is achieved when deciding what supplier to choose for the project
- Being the 1st point of contact for contractors, both successful and unsuccessful in the process
- Liaising with internal teams regarding upcoming projects and procurement processes
- Ensuring the evaluation process is fair
Essential Skills & Experience:
- 3+ years experience within a procurement position
- Studying towards a CIPS qualification
- Experience in a the private sector would be advantageous
- An excellent communicator
- Hard-working and ambitious
- A team player who thrives when working with others towards shared goals
Package:
- Up to £37,300 basic depending on experience
