The Business:
A global facilities management business with well over £1bn in turnover.
The Role:
- Support the regional operations director and commercial manager on the client contracts in the UK. You'd be owning the supply chain/supplier relationships that deliver to each client account
- Drive operational excellence from a procurement perspective. A good example of this could be that in HVAC with client accounts, the business have 5 different suppliers across the South East region. This individual would then look at consolidation to one supplier, driving best value, efficiency's, and performance
- Manage the supply chain, develop and own the relationships with supplier, reporting on business performance
- Negotiating savings on the front end, mitigate cost and making sure reactive works are managed by a robust supply chain both local and national
- Develop and manage client report outputs, record savings and cost changes/cost avoidance; owning supplier relationships for the region
- Support the team around data reporting, creating and implementing a project plan to increase value
Key Skills:
- A Hard FM background, having worked on client accounts would be really useful
- Experience within Operational Procurement
- Strong negotiation skills and the ability to run a tender
- Strong understanding of different suppliers in the FM space
- Good with data analysis/reporting
