Job Summary:
Are you ready for a rewarding challenge? West Yorkshire Police is seeking an exceptional individual to join our newly established Procurement team.
As Procurement Programme Manager your will provide professional advice on commercial and governance matters to senior customers to ensure West Yorkshire Police is compliant with Regulations and Legislation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide guidance and support to the Procurement team to ensure compliance with all relevant legislation. Including changes to public procurement Legislation.
- Manage and development of procurement documents ensuring they and up to date.
- Manage reporting arrangement so the Procurement team comply with Regulations.
- Manage and respond to all requests for information from the Procurement team in line with legislative requirements.
- Ensure improvement in terms of quality and coverage of records held on national procurement databases are made.
- Ensure all content on websites are accurate and develop the use of social media to increase bidding for contracts.
Requirements:
- Hold a Chartered Institute of Procurement and Supply Diploma qualification and full corporate membership (MCIPS).
- Previous experience of commercial and contract management at a senior level.
- Excellent knowledge, interpretation and application of Public Procurement legislation.
- Experience of working collaboratively with a wide range of stakeholders.
