Curious and passionate self-starting procurement professional to become a key team member in an ongoing transformation within a growing multi-national business. The role will involve substantial ESG elements and integration into all activities. Key parts of the role include regional sourcing projects; training, coaching, and mentoring of various staff levels; contract negotiations; S2P system use; ongoing development of processes, procedures, and procurement tools. The role will initially concentrate on supporting the UK business with opportunities to liaise with international teams on larger projects.
Experience required
5-10 years procurement experience in various industries
Experience supporting the development of Category Strategies and Supplier management
Experience and ability in the pro-active review of existing processes in collaboration with category users & owners
Expert contractual knowledge - ability to understand impact of proposed changes and review 3rd party contracts to identify risks and propose alternative clauses
Excellent contract knowledge and understanding
Demonstrate a comprehensive understanding of the end to end procurement process and effective execution of the process
Some public sector experience preferred but not essential (Public sector Scotland)
