Page Personnel are looking to recruit a Procurement & Supply Chain Specialist on a 6 month temporary contract for our Public Sector client based in Sheffield.

Description
The Key responsibilities of the role will include but not limited to:
- Supporting the Procurement manager with the overall procurement process
- Preparation and attendance at various meetings, including project team meetings, & moderation meetings.
- Keeping of detailed notes of meetings
- Managing communications with bidders through the Council's supplier portal.
- Co-ordinating communications between project team and bidders including responses to clarification questions.
- Keeping accurate records, updating action logs
- As one of the Council's largest and most high profile tenders the work is fast paced so being highly organised and able to stay on top of a number of competing priorities is extremely important. As is the need to be precise and accurate in communications with all parties.
- The work can mainly be undertaken at home however there is some requirements to attend in person meetings so local to Sheffield would be preferable.
Profile
The successful Procurement & Supply Chain Specialist will have:
- An understanding of procurement processes
- Have an understanding of the tendering process
- Be able to effectively communicate with bidders
- Have experience managing meetings as well as note taking
You will also need to be immediately available or be able to start within a week.

- £15 - £17 hourly rate
