Role Overview
The Product Analytics Lead will be responsible for harnessing data to inform our product strategy and improve our product offerings. As a direct report to our Chief Product Officer, you will establish and lead a new analytics team within the product organization, ensuring that data insights are at the forefront of our product development process.
Responsibilities
- Build, lead, and mentor a team of Product Analysts to support product and feature development with actionable insights.
- Manage the selection and implementation of a new set of analytical tools and infrastructure to support robust Product Analytics.
- Develop and manage analytical frameworks, KPIs, and dashboards to measure product performance and user engagement.
- Work closely with the product management team to prioritize analytics projects based on product strategy and business impact.
- Translate complex data findings into clear recommendations for technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, UX, and business units, to integrate analytics into the product lifecycle.
- Influence product strategy and feature development through evidence-based recommendations. Champion a culture of data-driven decision-making throughout the organization.
What are we looking for?
- Proven experience in a Product Analytics role, preferably within a B2B SaaS environment.
- Experience working in world-class product organisations, either companies that have reached scale (Google, Microsoft, Uber, Deliveroo, JustEAT) or high growth startups
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy.
- Demonstrated experience in managing and developing a team.
- Expertise in analytical tools and programming languages such as SQL, Python, R, or similar.
- Experience with data visualization tools and dashboard creation.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders across the organization.
- A data-driven mindset with strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
