SalaryAn interesting and exciting position has arisen for a Product Buyer and Stock Controller to join an ambitious and growing business on the outskirts of Colchester.
You will play a vital part in ensuring all stock levels are at optimum levels and you will be negotiating and liaising with suppliers regarding quotes and prices. This is a varied role, and you will be working closely with the Purchasing Manager.

Main duties include but limited to:
- Stock control, maintain inventory and update product codes onto CRM system.
- Identify which stock is moving slowly, damages or short dated.
- Research, source and negotiate process from suppliers.
- Working with existing suppliers and identifying new suppliers and keep up to date with market trends.
- Organise product training for sales representatives.
- Mini stock audits and all relevant paperwork.
- Source new product ranges dependant on customer requirements.
- Update CRM with customer orders and delivery times.
Systems:
MS office packages including Excel, SAGE and CRM knowledge is desirable.
Drivers Licence and access to own car is desirable due to location not being accessible via public transport.
- Salary is dependent on experience starting at £25,000
- Monday to Friday 9:00- 17:00 (No weekend working)
- Casual dress workplace
- No weekend working.
- 28 days annual leave (including bank holidays) + 1 year extra each year of service.
