Vacancy: Product Costing Manager
Location: UK, Royston or Macedonia, Skopje

As the Product Costing Manager you will provide Product Costing expertise to ensure resources used during the manufacturing process are systematically recorded and reported in support of costing and profitability strategies and will coordinate the effective implementation of series part Product Costing across our global Clean Air manufacturing network. The Product Costing process must capture all the direct and indirect costs involved in the manufacturing of our products and ensure that these are captured and recorded correctly via throughput accounting in each of our sites. The accuracy of these costs is essential to support the short and long-term decisions that determine delivery of Clean Air’s profit.

Your responsibilities:
  • Coordinate the annual budget Product Costing process across all sites
  • Coordinate regular standard product cost updates, as required
  • Provide training & guidance to site teams to drive process compliance and standardisation
  • Align stakeholders on the design and development of costing solutions and the fit with other processes using knowledge of complex costing and pricing models and their impact on design, profitability and controlling profitability analysis reporting.
  • Ensure standard Product Costing works as the key building block for tracking site, product and customer performance across all Clean Air’s sites, through regular reviews and analysis.
  • Define and implement Product Costing policies and processes to drive standardisation and optimise business performance management opportunities. This includes Product Costing structure and cost evaluation methodologies as well as driving best practice and process compliance.
Requirements for the role:
  • Professional accounting qualification, e.g. ACA, CIMA or equivalent or studying toward
  • Significant and substantial experience in Finance function preferably in a large corporate organisation
  • Strong knowledge of enterprise resource planning Product Costing and building out Product Costing frameworks and processes
  • Experience within an activity based costing environment
  • Excellent communication and influencing skills
  • High level of written, verbal and oral English language skills
