Would you like to work for a leading Precision engineering supplier to the Aerospace / Automotive and Robotics industry and for a company that values its employees, then look no further.
You will be project managing and creating new designs, communicating with the key stakeholders, and supporting departmental knowledge and skill dissemination. You will also be supporting the validation and verification of designs and associated documentation.
This role allows for personal development, building experience and the potential to progress either within this function or others such as Manufacturing Engineering, Quality and R&D.
Knowledge/Skills and Experience:
- MEng preferred or BEng with a 1st, in a STEM subject such as Mechanical, Manufacturing Engineering coupled with appropriate industrial experience such as Mechanical Design of Rotating Equipment and Production Technologies (Turning, Milling, Grinding, Precision Metrology, etc.)
- Proficient in the use of 3D CAD software, SolidWorks is preferred but not essential.
- Project Management, Business processes and methods
- Analytical tools, statistical methods and problem-solving techniques (e.g., 6 Sigma, 8D)
- An ability to adapt quickly, applying fundamental knowledge to new challenges.
- Excellent communication skills, written, verbal and presentation.
