We are looking for a talented Product Developer to join our dynamic team. You will be responsible for the sourcing and development of new products for the Home Furnishings Kitchen category for both branded UW and own label ranges for key accounts.

Key Responsibilities of the Product Developer:
- Work collaboratively with Design and Commercial team to ensure strong range build, to develop a strategic, innovative product offer aligned to the Brand.
- Brief in new product to Agents in the Far East for sourcing new suppliers.
- Ensure sustainability is at the forefront of all sourcing decisions were practical, looking for new innovative ways to extend our sustainable product offer.
- Research & provide product information and visuals for shape, style, size, materials, construction.
- Assist in managing the design & product development process from receiving the initial brief through creation of design, design development, product development, sampling, labelling and packaging.
- Work with Key Account Manager and directly with the customer, to understand their brief, meet their design needs, target price and delivery deadlines.
- Source new, innovative, and commercially viable products internationally.
- Provide all information to request price quotes from the factories.
- Negotiate with the factories on product spec to achieve target price.
- Work with the QC on packaging design requirements.
- Liaise with customers, UW team members, NIM, suppliers on daily basis.
Skills and Experience Required:
- Manufacturing experience, primarily focusing on homeware.
- Demonstrable knowledge of the homeware marketplace in retail and eCommerce.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to organise a busy workload and meet deadlines.
- Experience in using Photoshop and Illustrator
