Product Developer / Designer

We are looking for a Product Developer/ Designer with an interest in furniture design to join our very busy team at our offices and furniture manufacturing workshops in Larling, Norfolk.

Candidates must have a good understanding of manufacturing drawings and be fully conversant with SOLID WORKS (current version) and CAD. We work with both wood and metal and its use with furniture (chairs, tables, stools, lounge chairs and sofas) for manufacturing.

Excellent communication skills are essential (both verbal and written) with the ability to communicate on all levels; you will work closely with external designers, the Directors and with our in-house manufacturing managers to help develop existing products and to create new bespoke products; providing solutions and support to any part design related issues.

The role would suit a creative and innovative person with a "can do" attitude, a keen eye for detail and the ability to work to timescales and deadlines. Warings Furniture would also consider a graduate with knowledge of Solid Works.

We are located in a rural location so own transport is essential.
