Self-Portrait is looking for a Product Development Assistant to join the team. Within this position you will report to the PD Manager, supporting the Product Development team on all aspects of the PRODUCT DEVELOPMENT process.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

• Bachelor's degree Graduate up to 1 years PD experience.
• Strong organisational skills
• Ability to prioritize, manage and coordinate multiple activities simultaneously
• A strong eye for detail and high level of accuracy
• Experience with data entry, ensuring complete detail and accuracy even when working at speed
• Good communication skills, able to effectively share information with the team in a clear, concise way
• Proficient in Microsoft office (Excel)
• Experience with PLM/Zedonk programmes would be an advantage 
• Passionate about fabric and PRODUCT DEVELOPMENT  
• Able to work both independently and part of a team
• An understanding of garment construction, print and embellishment
• Dedicated, hardworking and committed person willing to progress as the company grows

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Supporting the team with administrative tasks
• Recording and Tracking prototypes and Press/SMS samples worldwide.
• Organising, filing and archiving samples and swatches daily.
• Opening and distributing Post/Parcels daily
• Inputting and updating PLM, ensuring accuracy is maintained throughout the collection
• Organising samples before fittings and reviews, including hanging, steaming.
• Creating seasonal trim and fabric boards under the direction of PD team.
• Providing general support to the PRODUCT DEVELOPMENT team
