Product Executive

Are you an experienced Product professional within the Travel Industry? Or are you currently working within a Reservations / Travel Consultant and looking to progress into a Product role? Are you based out in Kent and looking for a local position withing the Industry? We have the role for you!!

We are working with a well-known (Kent based) Tour Operator, who are looking of a Product Executive to join their small / close knit team.

The role:

• Maintain and react to competitor analysis on FIT beach and tours product
• Research hotels to be sold via direct contacts and 3rd parties
• Research and development for new tours and destinations
• Maintaining excellent supplier relationships and promoting the company brand positively
• Tour amendments, hotel changes and cancellations
• Updating internal excel and word documents for use within departments
• Putting together hotel and tour contracts
• Using the GDS to research flight routings/prices
• To ensure accuracy of all material being sent out from the dept both internally and externally
• All costs/dates for assigned areas loaded
• Brochure proofing and production

The above is a general overview of the main job tasks - other tasks may need to be undertaken from time to time.

The Person:

Experience within the Product (desirable)

• Experience within the Travel & Tourism Industry (essential)
• Strong team and work ethic, helping when colleagues absent
• Good communication skills
• Numerate with good working knowledge of Microsoft Excel
• Excellent understanding and application of English language both oral and written
• Excellent attention to detail
• Strong interpersonal skills and an outgoing, approachable personality
• Ability to work in a busy and pressured environment

The Package:

• Salary: £27,000 - £30,000 (dependant on experience)
