Product Manager - Digital Technologies
£37,458 - £42,135 p.a. pro rata
About the Role
To take ownership of a number of Digital Solutions applications and products, working with vendors, business managers and colleagues across Digital Technologies to deliver an application management strategy and roadmaps for one or more portfolio of products. To manage the performance of, and relationship with, the IT vendor on behalf of all university stakeholders.
- Develop a broad understanding of certain products within the application portfolio and how they are deployed at NTU.
- Use the overarching application management strategy to manage product lifecycles and lead on a programme of continuous improvement for your portfolios, supported by the senior Product Manager.
- Work collaboratively with key stakeholders and relevant Business Owners, using strong communication and negotiation skills as appropriate, to ensure appropriate and achievable plans are in place that benefit the full stakeholder community.
- Manage the vendors of the applications in the portfolios to ensure NTU make maximum use of the software and gain the best value from the vendor relationship
- Contribute to the strong reputation of Digital Technologies and represent DT at both internal and external meetings and working groups
