About The Role
allpay is the leading provider of payment solutions to housing associations, local authorities, and central government in the UK. We work with 90% of the top 250 Housing Association's, 70% of all Housing Association's, 50% of all UK Local Authorities and provide solutions for the NHS, The Scottish Government, and the Ministry of Justice.
Since 2009, we have pioneered the use of prepaid cards across the private and public sectors, delivering disbursement solutions to local authorities, housing associations, charities, and banks.
We now have an exciting opportunity for a Product Manager to join our team to support our Prepaid solution!
Reporting to the Senior Product Manager (Prepaid), as Product Manager you will be driving performance of our existing products, and you will develop the company’s new and enhanced products in line with the company business strategy.

Your new role:
As a Product Manager, you will work with multi-disciplined teams, to help develop solutions and to continuously improve the profitability, and client satisfaction for our prepaid products.
You will become a subject matter expert, specifically in the Prepaid Solution, and you will have the knowledge and ability to take products into new markets, and to grow the business in line with our strategy.
Some of your key responsibilities will include:
- Support Senior Product Manager in delivering agreed revenue, cost, and Key Performance Indicator (KPI) targets for the products.
- Help manage the pricing policy for the relevant company’s products.
- Work methodically, collaboratively, and constructively with stakeholders across the business including design, engineering, research, data science and compliance, to deliver products that meet the Clients and Consumer’s needs, and ensuring products comply with relevant regulations and laws.
- Liaising with Sales and the Marketing teams to define and deliver promotional activity and marketing campaigns and measure their success.
- Providing expert product knowledge during developments, presentations, and demonstrations.

- As our ideal Product Manager, you will be educated to a degree level in a relevant field, or you will evidence your ability to develop and communicate a clear product vision and create and manage a product roadmap aligned with overall business goals.
- You will have the ability to understand customer needs and preferences and stay informed about competitors and market trends.
- Your excellent communication skills will be essential to not only effectively collaborate with various stakeholders and cross-functional teams, but also to persuade and motivate others without direct authority.
- You will effectively utilise data to make informed decisions, and you will understand fundamental technical concepts related to the product, including UX/UI awareness.
- You will use your financial literacy to understand the financial impact of product decisions.
Attractive bonus skills/knowledge:
- Your knowledge of the regulatory landscape covering financial services and payments, familiarity with PSD2, PSRs and EMRs will be an advantage!
