Overview of the Product Marketing Manager:

We are looking for an experienced Product Marketing Manager with a strong track record in building and delivering highly effective Product Marketing strategies for either an AI and SaaS business.

The Product Marketing Manager will be a bridge between Marketing and Product to help the business effectively clarify and articulate features and capabilities, across a variety of materials and audiences and take highly technical information and turn it into compelling and marketable materials.

The Product Marketing Manager will be the voice of the customer to all stakeholders, developing an in-depth understanding of the customer's needs and experiences, and working closely with the wider marketing, product and business development teams.

The position is a newly created one in the business so you will have a fantastic opportunity to shape, develop and progress the Product Marketing function within the business.

Product Marketing Manager Duties:

• Develop and build concise and effective product messaging and marketing materials to set the business products apart from others in the market to give them a unique selling point.
• Produce high quality sales collateral and other Product Marketing documentation, including product definitions, SaaS sales decks, technical sales decks etc.
• Communicate the vision and value of new products to the business development team and develop sales tools that facilitate the selling process.
• Plan and participate in the launch of new services and products which involve several different teams
• Support the Head of Communications in briefing media, analysts and other external stakeholders about new products.
• Work closely with the UX team to obtain insights into customer's usage of current products, untapped opportunities and buyer personalities, through interviews, surveys, focus groups and sales data
• Agree timelines and deadlines for the development of new products with product management, engineering or manufacturing departments.
• Use market research data to establish product pricing.
• Support content development such as case studies, videos, website copy and blog posts.
• Research competitor offerings and create excellence in Product Marketing.

What's in your DNA/Experience needed:

• A solid understanding in either the Artificial Intelligence, SaaS, Automotive or Engineering space would be a strong advantage this position.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with multiple teams across the business, including customer success, product, marketing, engineering, and senior executives, celebrating differences and acting as one.
• Experience in being able to write to a high standard is key to success in this position. You will have the ability to present new solutions and write engaging product copy, telling the 'story’ of the product, across various marketing channels.
• Experience of working with User Research to gain insights into customer needs and experiences. Analysis of data, surveys and customer interviews will be part of this mix and you need to be well versed with these techniques.
• Ability to take a creative approach to problem solving, being bold with new ideas and thinking.
