They are well funded, highly profitable and have a long term stable order book with NPD as a core focus for the future.The RoleReporting to the Technical Manager, the Product Metallurgist will be a key member of the site Technical and Laboratory team and will be involved in the metallurgical design, development and analysis of the product to ensure material properties achieve specification for the customer while assessing product performance through data collection that may be used for improvement and new product development.The PersonIdeally with a Degree / Masters or PhD level education in a Metallurgical or materials based subject, the product Metallurgist will be experienced in the development of materials and products within a regulated and detail / quality driven environment such as; Aerospace, Nuclear, Oil & Gas or Automotive. You will be excited by the process of developing new products for cutting edge applications and will have a true eye for detail and Product Management.
