Yolk Recruitment is thrilled to be spearheading the search for a highly skilled Product Metallurgist to join the dynamic Technical Team. The role involves tasks such as metallurgical design, development, and analysis to guarantee that material properties meet customer specifications. Taking on the responsibility of identifying potential opportunities for product and process improvement, the incumbent implements these enhancements through structured projects.

This is what you'll be doing:
- Interpret customer requirements and specifications, incorporating them into the product processing route and release criteria.
- Spearhead metallurgical development for products, ensuring continuous improvement and adherence to standards.
- Take on technical responsibility for Heat Treatment Processes and their ongoing development.
- Design and approve manufacturing routes that guarantee compliant metallurgical products.
- Develop manufacturing controls to ensure consistent product quality for customers.
- Collaborate with colleagues for customer and regulatory bodies' process audits.
And this is what you'll need:
- Degree/ Masters / PhD qualified in Metallurgy or Materials Science.
- Experience in forging, thermomechanical processing, heat treatment, and conducting release testing.
- Experience working within a highly regulated manufacturing environment.
