SalaryMCS Group is looking for a Product Owner to drive forward an application within our client's business. This Product Owner will work closely with SMEs and the technical team, building strong working relationships with stakeholders. As Product Owner, you will work closely with the customer, gathering and refining requirements and bringing the application to life.
The Details
As Product Owner, you will work closely with the internal customer, defining and refining requirements, and mapping out the product vision and timeline.
You will run and take ownership of workshops, and drive the process forward.
You will use your excellent business acumen to spot opportunities, gaps and work-arounds.
Ideally you will have experience in a financial setting, and will bring this domain knowledge with you.
This role is perfect for a proactive Product Owner, who has proven experience of taking the initiative and proactively driving a product forward.
The Person
You will have previous commercial experience in a Product Owner role, or as a Technical Project Manager with a Product focus in a software environment.
You will have SQL skills, and be comfortable working with e.g. Jira and Azure Boards for tracking.
Ideally you will have some previous experience in a financial, banking, or insurance domain but this is not essential.
Any experience you have of working with data / big data would be highly beneficial.
Rate: Negotiable
Duration: 6 Months Initially
Location: Client is located in Belfast (Northern Ireland) and some on-site working is anticipated throughout the month.
