Product & Pricing Assistant - Cruise/Travel

This is a great opportunity to join an expanding luxury cruise tour operator as a Product & Pricing Assistant. This role involves the loading and maintenance of cruise packages, liaising with suppliers, and supporting the Product & commercial team with a range of commercial and administrative tasks. Its an ideal role for candidates with travel industry experience looking to move into a Product role, or someone who is already in a similar role looking for an exciting new challenge. Product Assistant - Role & Responsibilities: Responsible for the loading of cruise packages onto the content management system. Keeping cruise package prices up to date. Support sales team with product and commercial queries. Work with the Product team on new ideas and product launches. Liaise with suppliers where necessary to ensure clear understanding and accurate loading of all cruises. Ensure all product loaded is accurate, including cruise & tour itineraries and hotel descriptions. Support with maintaining website information, ensuring all information and imagery is accurate. Provide administrative support for product team to ensure all product is effectively contracted and maintained. Support the connectivity of API links with external cruise suppliers to ensure correct pricing. This role may require travel abroad to understand & experience products. Product Assistant - Skills & Experience Required: Experience in the travel industry preferred but college leavers with travel & tourism qualifications also considered. Knowledge of travel reservations systems would be beneficial. Strong communication skills, with strong verbal and written English language skills. Excellent attention to detail. Good working knowledge of Microsoft Excel. Experience of working within a CMS (WordPress, HubSpot or similar) Strong interpersonal skills. Ability to manage and prioritise workload.
