The Opportunity
An amazing no-experience required opportunity, to join the Product Development Department team as Quality & Safety Administrator at Shnuggle, an international consumer products brand.
About the Role
As Quality & Safety Administrator, you would work directly with the Senior Design Engineer to maintain our product safety and compliance.
Full training will be given to the candidate with the right skills and attitude, with an opprtunity to fast track your development in a Quality Assurance role.
The ideal person for this role would be confident, practical and well organised. You must be comfortable reading, understanding and organising complex documents and planning product safety testing with our approved testing laboratories.
In this role you will learn essential skills, including;
- Learning about product safety standards,
- Planning product safety testing with our labs (SGS, Intertek, etc,
- Maintaining our product compliance register,
- Undertaking risk assessments on new product development,
- Conduct Quality Assurance check on goods-in to our warehouse,
- Work with our suppliers on quality issues,
Essential Skills & Experince;
- Demonstrable strong skills in Microsoft Word and Excel,
- Demonstrate ability to read and understand product safetys standards,
- Be able to manage and communicate important information clearly
- Be fluent in English both written and oraly
Qualifications, Salary and benefits

- GSCE’s - Minimum of C in Maths, English & either Science or Technology.
- (Optional) Further education in an engineering or practical subject.
- (Optional) Any experience in a safety or compliance.
Location
The job is office based in Northern Ireland, Newtownards, BT22 2RH, therefore applicants must be able to make their own way to the office, where the working hours are 08:30 - 17:00 Mon-Fri.
