We are looking for a Product Support Analyst to join our Short Breaks team in our ever-growing Technology department, on a permanent basis. The role could be based either at our world-famous Madame Tussauds London office, Chessington World of Adventures office or within our hub in Basingstoke, and can offer an element of hybrid working.


Embark on an exciting journey with Merlin Technology as a key player in our global Short Breaks rollout. Your role is crucial in seamlessly managing existing parks, anticipating challenges, and proactively resolving issues. Dive into the heart of our Tour Operator business, focusing on the Finance/Tax department, and revolutionize support processes.


Key Objectives:

  • Champion the Short Breaks platform for existing parks, ensuring smooth day-to-day operations.
  • Support and test change requests, driving improvements for enhanced productivity.
  • Ensure system configuration aligns with IT, legal, financial standards, maintaining top-notch performance.
  • Oversee release deployments for systems, orchestrating seamless updates.
  • Play a pivotal role in the global Short Breaks roll-out, contributing to testing key system developments.
  • Foster communication and coordination among teams, eliminating bugs and tackling issues head-on.
  • Master Short Breaks knowledge to optimise sales processes, ensuring a stellar customer journey and boosting pre-bookings.
  • Grasp Short Breaks processes from Pre-booking to Call Centre activity to Finance aspects, meeting the team's diverse requirements.

Qualifications & Experience:
  • Thorough knowledge of Merlin’s brands, product offering and operating processes is beneficial
  • An understanding of Short Breaks or Hotel systems would be a plus, to deliver the best possible customer journey
  • Diplomatic, patient and approachable
  • Self-motivated and able to work unsupervised
  • Experience in support and development within Applications would be useful
  • Microsoft Office product suite
  • To manage successfully within a range of geographies, cultures and forms of governance
  • Aptitude to work on multiple support tasks simultaneously, as well as support calls
  • Strong written, oral and interpersonal communication skills within technical and non-technical areas
  • Approachable and friendly team player who can engage with colleagues worldwide at all levels
  • Maintain a positive attitude and seek to influence others when implementing change
