From flapjacks to muffins, gingerbread to cookies, and an array of cakes and traybakes, their products are synonymous with quality and taste. Operating from a BRC A grade facility, they supply their delectable treats to Foodservice and Retail customers across the UK and Europe.
Major Recruitment are extremely excited to announce we have partnered with a fantastic client to recruit a Production and Material Scheduler to join their dynamic and innovative team on a full-time permanent basis.
As the role of Planner and Material Scheduler you will play a pivotal part in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of production processes.
Key responsibilities of Planner and Material Scheduler:
- Creating and managing production schedules to meet demand and optimise efficiency.
- Coordinating materials, analysing data, and ensuring accurate inventory management.
- Facilitating communication and collaboration between various departments to ensure seamless production flow.
- Proactively identifying and resolving any issues or bottlenecks in the production process.
- Maintaining a high standard of quality and compliance with relevant regulations and standards.
What you'll need to be a successful Planner and Material Scheduler:
- Proven experience in production scheduling and planning within a fast-paced environment.
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret data to inform decision-making.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with internal teams and external suppliers.
- Experience in coordinating materials and conducting data analysis to optimize production processes.
- Meticulous attention to detail and effective problem-solving abilities.
- Previous experience in the food manufacturing industry is advantageous.
- A Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel for data analysis and reporting.
- Experience with SAP or other ERP systems is preferred.
