Production And Warehouse Lead

The main role will be to provide support to the Plant Manager Speke in the supervision and management of all the resources and activities of the site in compliance with UK laws, regulations and the standards defined at Company and Group level, ensuring cost effectiveness, production quality, timing respect and safety. Be able to undertake all admixtures production activities, able to assist with warehouse duties and hold a current counterbalance forklift licence.

The ideal candidate will arrange all deliveries and collections in the most cost effective way possible to ensure we meet our targets, therefore we require a highly motivated, organized, reliable, trustworthy and flexible team member with good leaderships skills and a willingness to learn and succeed. The successful candidate will be driven, knowledgeable, possess an excellent level of clear communication, highly organized and able to work under pressure.

Essential: 4 GCSE’s to grade C or equivalent to include English & Maths;
Excellent communication skills;
Highly organized and able to work to deadlines under pressure;
Time management and prioritization skills;
A good level of Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook;
Good working knowledge of ISO 9001 and the Integrated Management System.
Current counterbalance forklift licence.

Hours of work: 08:00 – 16:30 Monday to Friday with 30 minutes break, 40 hours a week. You will need to be flexible during busy period and stock takes (quarterly) and additionally may be required to work flexible working hours matching our current shift patterns as and when necessary.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: £35,000.00-£38,000.00 per year
