We are working with a very well-established and highly prestigious company in the Ludlow area who are recruiting for an experienced Production Planner to support the scheduling and planning activities relating to customer orders. This role will be a key position within the organisation, and you will be responsible for ensuring production and material schedules are compiled and forecasted requirements are accurate.
The Production Controller will be responsible for:
- Planning and scheduling production
- Ensure forecasts are accurate
- Raise and create production work orders
- Ensure all relevant data is input through the MRP system
- Following work in progress and ensuring adherence to schedules / productivity
- Resolving and issues in production progress
Skills and Experience
- Must have previous experience in a Production Control / Production Scheduler / Production Planner / MRP Planner role will be essential
- A strong understanding and experience with MRP/ ERP systems
- A strong understanding and knowledge of engineering would be ideal
- Strong working knowledge of MS Excel
