Production Engineer (Electronics)
Are you passionate about the manufacturing and production industry? Our client, a leading organisation in the industry, is seeking a Production Engineer to join their dynamic team in Andover.
Hours: Monday - Friday 8:30-5:00
Location: Andover
Salary: Up to £28,500
Key Responsibilities:
- Leading the manufacturing processes, ensuring quality work is done in a safe, efficient manner.
- Liaising with other engineers to develop plans that improve production, costs, and labour required.
- Diagnosing problems in the production area and providing recommendations.
- Identifying, documenting, and reporting unsafe practices.
- Assist the production team as required on build projects.
- Leasing and planning production schedules.
- Analysing all facets of production and making recommendations for improvement.
- Obtaining any materials and equipment required.
- Follow production drawings and sample assemblies or receive verbal instructions regarding duties to be performed.
Desired Skills:
- Proven experience in production and electronic engineering within the manufacturing industry.
- Strong knowledge of lean manufacturing and continuous improvement methodologies.
- Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to multitask and prioritise competing demands in a fast-paced environment.
