Production Engineer

Jonathan Lee Recruitment has an excellent opportunity for a Production Engineer to work for a well-established manufacturing business in Redditch, Worcestershire. In return for your experience you will get a starting salary of up to £45,000 per annum (depending on experience) and 25 days holiday + bank holidays.

The hiring manager is looking for someone who has Offline CNC programming experience and has Knowledge/previous experience with Fanuc, Siemens & Haas Controls.

We are looking for someone who has a strong man-management background, is keen to bring some new ideas to the business that could help to improve the production process and has knowledge/previous experience with Lean Manufacturing & 5S Processes.

Working within a busy workshop, you will oversee a team of 5-7 CNC Setters/Operators & Manual Machinists.

To give you an idea of how this role would look and feel, here are some things you could expect to do:

• Offline programming of CNC machines
• Planning the workload on the machines
• Scheduling maintenance for machines to ensure minimal downtime
• Ordering tooling kept in line with workloads
• Supporting the sales and estimating process
