Production Inspector Job Opportunity in Fareham, Hampshire

Salary: £12.00 – £13.00 per hour

Are you an experienced Production Inspector looking for a new opportunity? Our client, a reputable subcontract electronics manufacturer based in Fareham, Hampshire, is actively seeking a skilled Production Inspector to join their dynamic team. This is an exciting chance to become a vital part of a local company that produces electronic components used globally across various industries.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct thorough Goods in, Stage & Final Inspection of PCB’s, Electrical & Electronic Assemblies.
• Assist with First Article Inspections in accordance with AS EN ISO 9100 standards.
• Participate in troubleshooting quality-related issues.
• Proactively communicate any concerns affecting delivery or quality to management.
• Ensure compliance with Health and Safety, housekeeping, quality, and environmental policies and procedures.
• Provide QA support as needed.
• Collaborate with the Quality Controller to diagnose quality problems.

Requirements:

• Possession of Industry Standard Inspection Qualifications (IPC).
• Understanding of Quality Management System (QMS) disciplines per BS EN ISO 9001:2008 & AS EN 9100.
• Familiarity with Electrostatic Discharge (ESD) Controls.
• Ability to read and interpret complex Engineering Drawings & Instructions.

Working Hours: Monday to Thursday 07:30–16:30, Friday 07:30–12:30.

Additional Information:

• Hourly pay starts at £12.00, with potential to earn up to £13.00 per hour based on recent relevant experience in the electronics inspection field.
• Weekly pay schedule.
