Salary: £35k Inc Shift Allowance
Hours of work: Full time / Continental 4 Shift Pattern(323): Averaging 42 hours per week/ Mixture of day and night shifts: Days: 06:00 – 18:00, Nights: 18:00 – 06:00
Contract: Temp to Perm after 12 weeks
We are looking for production / machine operators to join our client’s well established team working on production lines and operating machinery.
Responsibilities:-
- Set-up and operate manual and automatic machinery on a daily basis
- Recording of productivity, waste and quality data
- Carryout visual attributes and physical dimensions inspection of the product to maintain quality
- Perform machine maintenance and breakdowns
- Participate in quality and productivity improvements activities
- Undertake general housekeeping including cleaning machines, sweeping up etc.
- Adhere to health & safety and company policies and procedures
Experience required:-
- Previous Manufacturing experience
- Mechanically Minded
- Good communication skills
- Be able to work both unsupervised and as part of a team
- Hands on approach and self motivated
- Quality and customer focused
- Attention to Detail
