Requirement for a Production Manager in Monaghan

Your new role
As a Production Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the manufacturing process and coordinating all activities to ensure enough resources on hand. You will plan workers' schedules, estimate costs, and prepare budgets to ensure workflow meets required deadlines. You will liaise with senior managers to formulate objectives and understand requirements, presenting data and costings for the day / week. You will organise workflow to meet specifications and deadlines, monitor production to resolve issues, supervise and evaluate performance of production personnel, work alongside HR on disciplinary issues, absenteeism etc. You will ensure output meets quality standards, and enforce health and safety precautions.
What you'll need to succeed
The ideal candidate should have proven experience as a Production Manager, with deep knowledge of food production, understanding of quality standards and health & safety regulations. You should have a proven track record with performance evaluation and budgeting concepts, experience in reporting on key production metrics, proficiency in MS Office and ERP software. You should have outstanding communication ability, excellent organisational and leadership skills, attention to detail, strong decision-making skills, and a results-driven approach.
