Job Description
- Manage and coordinate all manufacturing processes at the plant
- Ensure production objectives are met in a timely and cost-effective manner
- Develop and implement strategies for continuous improvement
- Ensure adherence to health and safety regulations
- Manage and develop team members, promoting a positive work culture
- Work closely with other departments to achieve company goals
- Monitor and control expenses within allotted budget
- Report on production performance and suggest improvements
The Successful Applicant
A successful Production Manager should have:
- An engineering or related degree
- Experience in a leadership role within the industrial / manufacturing industry
- Strong knowledge of production management
- Understanding of quality standards and health & safety regulations
- Excellent problem-solving, project management, and team management skills
- Proficient in MS Office and ERP systems
