Pertemps are currently recruiting for several Production Operatives for our client who is a leader in floral production and distribution in Spalding. We are looking for motivated and reliable individuals who will be required to sort and pack various bouquets of flowers into boxes ready to be shipped. This job is to cover a busy mother’s day period from the 3rd to the 9th of March although long term work may be available.
You will need to live locally or have your own transport to get to the site, which is based in Weston, Spalding.
What will I be required to do?
- Assist in the processing and packaging of a wide variety of flowers.
- Labelling the finished boxes.
- Quality control checks to ensure product freshness and standards.
- Work collaboratively with team members to meet production targets.
- Follow all health and safety regulations and company policies.
- Sleeving and wrapping of bouquets, boxing, and strapping.
- No previous experience in flower handling required; training will be provided.
- Ability to stand and move for extended periods.
- Basic mechanical skills for operating machinery.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
We have shifts available every day of the week, the shifts are 12 hours, and you will be starting between 8:00am / 9:00am each day.
How much will I be paid?
You will be paid £11.42ph for all hours worked if you attend all shifts you are booked for that week. If you are unable to attend all shifts you will be paid £10.42ph for that week.
