Production Operator - Afters

Contract: Permanent

At B. Braun we play a critical part in protecting and improving the lives of patients. We are currently looking for people to work in our Production Unit to help get essential supplies out to our healthcare customers.

The starting salary is £24,158, increasing up to £25,933 within approx. 12 months, subject to passing different training modules. On top of this, you will receive a shift enhancement after 6pm of time and a third.No experience is required! We will provide full training for the role.

We are recruiting for a Sunday - Thursday, 2pm-10pm shift. There is a requirement to work 2 Saturdays a year in November/December. We work all bank holidays except for Christmas Day, Boxing Day and New Years Day.

If successful, you will be invited to attend an Open Evening on 3rd July 2024 at 5.30-7.30pm.

Here's what you can expect to be doing…

• Producing pre-filled syringes and nutritional products
• Moving materials to the relevant production area
• Cleaning materials that are required for production
• Preparing documents and labels for the products
• Checking products and materials
• Packing of orders for shipment
• Basic stock control; storage, rotation, replenishing stock and checking stock levels
• Following standard work instructions
• Ensuring operator/environmental plates are stored and incubated correctly at the end of each shift.

• Able to work on own initiative and within a team
• Pass in Maths and English or the ability to demonstrate good numeracy and literacy skills
• Ability to demonstrate safe manual handling
• Able to work accurately and methodically
• Ability to concentrate for long periods of time
• Committed to Health and Safety procedures
