We have an opportunity for a Production Planner to join us at Honeywell, in Motherwell, where you will be responsible for scheduling production lines ensuring optimal capacity and efficiency of the lines at all times based on material availability, responsible for collating and analysing data relating to Sales, Inventory and Operations Planning (SIOP) and assisting with creating production targets on a monthly basis.
This is a hybrid role, 3 + 2 days model.

Key Responsibilities:
- Manage backlogs to ensure maximum capacity is obtained in each cell, taking into account either On Time to Promise & Request (OTFP & OTTR) metrics, past due management, safety stock attainment, schedule attainment.
- Raise purchase requisitions, firm up and maintain planned orders to ensure raw material is ordered and controlled so ensuring optimal inventory holding, plus ensuring Finished Goods are dispatched to relevant Customer on time.
- Work with production teams to agree operation plans, capacity, and labour alignment.
- Manage inventory to the optimum level and work with sourcing on purchasing strategies.
- Manage workflows / Engineering Change Orders through SAP ensuring data accuracy in Material Master
Key Skills & Qualifications:
- Experience in SAP manufacturing
- Excellent Microsoft Office skills – Excel
- Previous planning experience preferred.
- Ability to speak with all levels of personnel within the business.
- Excellent organisational skills
