Production Quality Manager

Our extremely busy client, a pioneering force in fibre optic and LED lighting systems, is seeking a dedicated and experienced Production Quality Manager to join their team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Quality Management Systems: Enhance and manage the implementation of QMS initiatives.
• Department Supervision: Oversee the fibre optic harness and polishing departments.
• KPI Monitoring: Track and assess Quality and manufacturing Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
• Production Scheduling: Maintain production schedules to ensure timely and high-quality order fulfilment.
• Inspections and Programming: Perform inspections and program Coordinate Measuring Machines (CMM).
• Data Management: Collect data, maintain records, and prepare reports for senior management.
• Audit Planning: Organise and schedule internal audits.
• Team Building: Promote teamwork within quality and production teams.
• Order Consolidation: Ensure timely consolidation and dispatch of orders.

Qualifications:
The ideal candidate will have a background in Quality assurance within a manufacturing setting, proficiency in programming CMM machines, and expertise in inspection procedures and interpreting engineering drawings. Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel, excellent communication skills, and knowledge of Material Requirement Planning (MRP) systems are essential.
