My client are seeking a dedicated Production Shift Manager to join their fast-paced and innovative production team. A family ran business, this company is in a very secure position with recently opened new site bolstering the businesses outlook. As a Production Shift Manager, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient and smooth operation of manufacturing processes while leading and developing a team of skilled operators.
Job Description
- Lead, mentor, and motivate a team of technicians to achieve production goals and quality standards.
- Participate in Continuous improvement activities.
- Assist in training new team members.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering and quality control.
- Monitor and report on key performance indicators.
Requirements
- Experience in a supervisory or management role.
- Experience within manufacturing environment, ideally a plastics based environment.
- Experience of health and safety within a manufacturing environment.
- Flexibility to work shifts.
