Production Stream Manager, Attleborough, 4 on 4 off day shift

This role is a day shift role working 6:00 AM - 6:00 PM 4 on 4 off.
Role Description
The Production Stream Manager’s purpose is to use the principles of OPEX to develop a team who can deliver safety, quality, service and the goals of the business while meeting customer expectations. The Production Stream Manager will create a strategic plan using the master schedule tool to align with the business goals, communicate progress against targets regularly up and down the organization, ensuring that KPIs are being maintained at the required rate, and ensure each team member understands their role in delivering our business goals. You will have an intermediate food safety level 3 HACCP and IOSH managing safety or equivalent

Role Description
The Production Stream Manager’s purpose is to use the principles of OPEX to develop a team who can deliver safety, quality, service and the goals of the business while meeting customer expectations. The Production Stream Manager will create a strategic plan using the master schedule tool to align with the business goals, communicate progress against targets regularly up and down the organization, ensuring that KPIs are being maintained at the required rate, and ensure each team member understands their role in delivering our business goals. Other key requirements of the role are:
- Build a high performing team: remove any obstacles which may prevent team members from completing their roles effectively. Reward both successes and ideal behaviors when demonstrated and address any performance issues promptly and discreetly.
- OPEX improvement: use visual management to communicate key metrics and problem-solving information. Set and raise standards across safety, quality, environmental, manufacture and asset management. Identify key problem areas and set targets to improve process reliability.
- Deliver value for the business and for the customer: Maintain ATP in the Production Stream. Address escalations promptly. Identify and manage bottlenecks or SKU complexity constraints in manufacturing or service areas. Focus on and improve key priority metrics using problem follow up tools and 8 step methodology where appropriate.
Skills Requirement
You will have an intermediate food safety level 3 HACCP and IOSH managing safety or equivalent
- degree in manufacturing or substantial experience and a proven track record of objective delivery within a manufacturing environment.
- Previous/current experience managing a team
- You will be focused and decisive and not get distracted away from the main business priorities, able to speak up even if it feels uncomfortable to do so and ask for help when an impasse is reached.
- Be open to change and embrace the “art of the possible” mentality.
