SalaryOur client are a leading player in the artistic tools and materials industry in Lowestoft, they are looking for a Production Supervisor to join their expanding team and be part of their exciting 2024 plans. As a Production Supervisor, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing and enhancing their manufacturing processes.
Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
- Supervising and coordinating daily production activities to meet quality and efficiency standards.
- Managing a team of skilled production workers, providing guidance, training, and support as needed.
- Ensuring compliance with safety regulations and maintaining a clean and organized work environment.
- Collaborating with other departments to optimize production schedules and address any production-related issues.
- Implementing continuous improvement initiatives to enhance overall operational efficiency.
- Monitoring inventory levels and coordinating with the supply chain to ensure smooth production flow.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in a Production Supervisory role, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
- Strong leadership and communication skills.
- Knowledge of safety regulations and the ability to enforce them.
- Familiarity with production planning and scheduling.
- Problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
Salary:
- £28,000 - £32,000 per annum
