Production Supervisor

Location: Out skirts of Mansfield, Nottinghamshire - must be able to drive

Hours of work: Monday Friday 6:30am to finish

(Must be flexible with hours up to 6pm and Saturday working)

Pay : GBP12.78 per hour

Our client has had an increase in business and are looking to expand their team!

Responsibilities include:

• Liaise with Production Operatives and Production Manager.
• Responsible for the cost effective running of the factory s production lines whilst maintaining safety, quality, and legal standards. It will involve the co-ordination of production and all personnel to meet daily targets.
• Monitoring of productivity levels.
• Management of line personnel.
• Efficient use of raw material.
• Ensuring KPIs for cost, safety and quality are adhered to.
• Management of production systems in accordance with BRC.
• Promotion of high standards of hygiene.
• Ensure the appropriate PPE is worn within the packing area.

Skills and experience:

• The successful candidate will ideally have a production background and some supervisory experience.
• Ability to work well under pressure and to think outside the box.
• Own transport is essential due to location of the company.
• Flexibility with working hours.
