Production Supervisor

Production Supervisor - Salary 27,000 per annum plus shift allowance ( 3500) - Benefits include 33 days holiday, Pension, Bonus, Life Assurance, Employee discount schemes, on site parking. Hours are Mon to Fri, working a rotating early and late shift. Permanent position based in Avonmouth, Bristol

We have a fantastic opportunity for a Production Supervisor to join a well established and growing manufacturing company. Reporting into the Production Manager, this role will be responsible for running the production area covering CNC and Saw Operators, as well as the warehouse function for both the early and late shifts (rotating each week).

Duties will include:

• Work closely with the Production Manager on all Operational issues
• Planning and organising production schedules
• Maintaining outputs set by the Production Manager
• Reviewing and implementing risk assessments
• Ensure preventative maintenance is carried out as per agreed schedules
• Maintain quality standards and assist in development of processes
• Manage time and attendance for your team, as well as all employee reviews and relations
• Ensure accuracy of stock levels and complete daily cycle counts as required.

Required skills and experience:

• Strong leadership experience and background managing teams within a production or manufacturing facility
• Previous experience working in Aerospace or Engineering environment would be preferred, but not essential
• Some machining (CNC & Saw) would be ideal
• Knowledge of Lean manufacturing and Continuous Improvement
• Operating a goods in and despatch function
• Strong IT skills
• Good interpersonal skills
