Your new company
Your new company are a successful food manufacturer that have been operating for over 20 years. The company have recently been taken over by a larger group and have almost doubled in size within the last year with further plans for expansion in 2024. There has never been a more exciting time to join the business.
Your new role
As Production Group Lead you will work alongside the Production Manager and Assistant Production Manager, looking after low and high risk areas. You will be responsible for the daily management of colleagues, organising cover for periods of holiday, overtime and absenteeism, including your duties during any absence.You will make sure your team have the correct training to correctly carry out their role and meet company KPI's.
What you'll need to succeed
The ideal candidate for the role will have similar experience within food manufacturing, supervising teams. You should be ambitious and have strong leadership skills, leading your team by example. Ideally you will have experience implementing lean methodologies within your teams and a qualification within lean manufacturing would also be beneficial. You should also be competent with manufacturing analysis, Food safety, environment and Health and Safety legislation.
